How do we develop Kodachrome in Colour?
Short answer: We don't.
But the longer answer is:
First, we pre-wash with Kodak's Remjet removal solution, then we hand develop as a black and white image using Rodinal and Ilford Rapid Fixer.
We then scan your Black and White negatives in and convert them using Lightroom and Negative Lab Pro.
Finally, to get your colour images, we use AI to re-introduce colour into your photos** before sending them to your e-mail.
Your Black and White negatives are then returned in PolyEthylene Sleeves.
**Colour reintroduction can introduce colour artefacts to your images and may not get the correct colours, as such we also include your images as normal black and white in addition to your colour scans when you receive them.
